I build this myself because I sell Dram chips and when they are older it is nice to know if they still work. I test most old components before selling them in the webshop. I have received components myself in the past that were Dead On Arrival and I try to avoid that. If you work with old Dram chips, this little cheap board may be handy. Just place a dram chip in the socket, press the button and a red light means failure, a green light means OK.
